26 August 2019
Only the first of August and already Haringey Greens was at the library!
These bookworms took out fifteen each, showing how much our local public service is valued.
Local governments in other areas have looked at and quoted the borrowing figures when deciding to close libraries.
Efforts to show that we do indeed love and use our libraries could help prevent their closure.
As a library with no ‘Friends Of’ group yet, and at most risk of closure, we chose to visit Coombes Croft.
We can visit others - which is your favourite in the Borough?
