General Election 2017

Help us win Green votes across Haringey! We have a tough fight ahead of us, but we know that we have strong, important messages that will resonate with many people in this area - from tackling ciimate change to defending the NHS, and from fighting for affordable housing to opposing a hard Brexit.

And we have two excellent candidates - Jarelle Francis is standing in Tottenham, and Sam Hall is standing in Hornsey and Wood Green. Read more about the candidates.

Our challenge is to make sure people get to hear our exciting ideas before June 8, and understand that they have the chance to vote for a different, better kind of politics. As a grassroots party, our resources are slim and the media don't always give coverage to our activities - so we need your help to spread the message!

Get involved with the campaign

Here are some ways that you can help:

  • Come to one of our Action Days. We'll be meeting every weekend between now and the election to knock on doors and talk to local people about Green ideas. Full training provided. Check our Facebook page for details of the next event.
  • Volunteer to deliver leaflets and/or letters.
  • Put up a Green poster or placard.
  • Spread the word on social media. Follow Haringey Green Party on Facebook and Twitter, and share and post information about Green policies and why you support us.
  • Make a donation to our election campaign. Resources are tight for this campaign, and every contribution is much appreciated. Here's a link to our Crowdfunder.
  • Finally, tell as many people as you can about our campaign and why you're voting Green! Word of mouth is a hugely powerful tool for spreading excitement about Green ideas, as hearing from someone you know often has a much greater influence than reading a news article or seeing a Facebook post.

If you're able to help, please fill in this form and we'll get in touch as soon as possible.
